Thanks.
Looks like Bitrefill or Coinsbee might work for moderate amounts if uploaded to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet. -
Manna wallet -
Bitrefill is solid. No KYC necessary and fees are very small, sometimes 0. -
Yeah, it looks good. Relatively low limits on individual gift cards/prepaid cards, but if you combine them, it gets up to a reasonable level rather quickly. -

Hey all,
Does anyone have an opinion on the relative security/safety of desktop wallets like Freewallet vs. browser extension wallets like XCPWallet and Horizon wallet? -

Looking below floor obviously since bear market took the place

XCP Pools: A Cold StartCounterparty's AMM pools won't recreate DeFi's liquidity-mining boom, and don't need to. The play is turning a ten-year backlog of cultural assets, their creators, games, and fairmints into liquid markets, with XCP as the routing layer underneath. The bootstrapping playbook, and why this cold start is different.

If enough people missed them, I'd start up WTH auctions again -
The auctions are a lot of work to organise and run, so they do need a level of committed participation from buyers and sellers -
I’ve always considered your auction critically important for Rare Pepe. I believe it needs to exist, even if only nominally. Even if it’s just holding an auction once every three months as a formality. The market is as dead as it gets, but without your auction, things are much worse. It’s at least some kind of activity. -

Have a great Sunday, and I hope everything goes well. -
Please explain? -
hey everyone... I've been offline most of the week dealing with family business.
Today I'm working to get my Counterparty node infrastructure upgraded to v11.0.2 and back to operational, so CounterTrader.io and CounterTools.io can get back in sync.
The @CounterTrader_io bot and the @CounterTraderFeed will start working again once I have my node fully operational and all APIs tested and back online. -
My system is now grinding through transaction-heavy blocks.
Log shows Block 950238 with hundreds of numeric-asset issuances (A174624820597260419… by bc1qwxem - a mass-mint), and counterparty.db-wal is growing (13→23 MB/12s), CPU 30–47%. H
eight moved 950,224 → 950,238. No errors, no hash mismatch... the bootstrap ledger is parsing correctly, just slowed by these heavy blocks. - 15 June 2026 (4 messages)

hey Counterparty fam... after a long Sunday Counterparty node upgrade odyssey, I'm deep in the entrails of OpenSea's API endpoints, working to correct a range of price and data problems with display of vaulted Counterparty assets, prices and orderbooks in @CounterTrader's @CounterTrader_io_bot.
When I get out the other side of this subterranean data jungle crawl, the /orderbook command in CounterTrader will no longer return strange high bids or expired ghost bids and asks on vaulted Counterparty assets. -
I'm a bit excited about this, because its the first time I've been able to get myself above infra maintenance into data logic error correction in quite a few weeks... life has thrown me some hard balls lately, so it's good to get a bit of qualitative improvement work under way after a couple of months. -
For those not yet using @CounterTraderFeed, not only does it tell you about new dispensers, it tells you when new assets are issued, and when they are locked. -

end of day two and I'm now 15 hours into rebuilding countertools.io to work with all the changes in v11.0.2 —> v11.1.0 -
Busy couple of weeks dealing with family member medical issues, so only just got back to desk to work on upgrading all my infra for CounterToo.s.io and CounterTrader.io
End of day two, and I'm still in the thick of it...
~15 hours into getting countertools.io back in sync after the v11.0.2 → v11.1.0 upgrade (activated at 952,500). Sharing a few things that bit me, in case it saves anyone else the same scramble.
The upgrade itself was the easy part. The cascade afterward was the lesson:
1. The legacy /api/ JSON-RPC SQL path. v11.1.0 hardened APIv1's SQL handling (the release notes mention blocking SQL injection via the filter field). Any tooling still hitting the old JSON-RPC sql method may hang against the tightened path — for me even a trivial query times out, while v2 REST is perfectly healthy. Worth noting the legacy JSON-RPC API (v1) is officially EOL anyway, so the real fix is migrating those reads to v2 REST.
Easy one to miss, because the node looks fine.
2. Dispenser price scaling changed. v11.1.0 fixed the API dispenser price to scale satoshirate / give_quantity by 1e8 for divisible assets, so it's now consistent per-unit BTC across divisible and indivisible. If you compute floor prices off dispenser data, your normalization needs to match the new convention or you'll be off by 1e8.
3. File ownership after a fresh bootstrap. A clean rebuild left my node DB files owned by root, and anything reading the SQLite directly from the host as a non-root service user then couldn't open it. SQLite's WAL mode means a read-only chmod doesn't fix it either — a cross-user reader still can't take the locks it needs. The durable answer was to stop reading the file from the host and read through the container instead.
The knock-on: a handful of background jobs that read the node DB directly had been silently failing for about a week, logging "success" while writing nothing. That's the real lesson of the week for me: silent is the dangerous failure mode, not loud. A green checkmark that lies is worse than a red one.
Happy to compare notes with anyone who's made the v11.1.0 jump. -
👋 i revised my price :) Would you be OK for 200$ ?

Any of you guys that have been following the Dogeparty hack might find this interesting, it explains why Dogeparty was hit while Counterparty was not.
https://x.com/dogermint/status/2069205450768437270
I do have to wonder about the security of CP wallets generated between Jan and April 2014, and if they are also targeted. - 23 June 2026 (17 messages)
-
I have tried to whitehat hack those wallets and failed. I think if they haven’t been hit they won’t. -
My evaluation is that the attacker probably had quick access link data. It would also have browser and timestamp info which makes guessing easier. -
The wallet operator would have that OR, and this is more likely, they got the logs through an exploit I was able to reproduce where you can query the API in a way that gets you these private logs. -
And since the Counterparty wallet from 2014 doesn’t exist to get those logs, it’s the main difference I can see. -
Is this access link generated for every wallet? It's been offline since 2015, I'm trying to imagine how the data was still available -
-
Ya the number of hacked wallets is why I think extra data like the one I’m talking about is a possible explanation.
Knowing the user agent, time created, and addresses associated is like the map you need to bust a ton of wallets. -
The other path is expensive grinding that’s probably less than what doge is worth. -
It’s a theory basically. But I tried to crack the counterparty addresses possibly affected, and seeing how expensive and hard that was led me to research counterwallet logs and quick access links. And having that info makes it like 6000x easier. -
You need to have generated a wallet with a vulnerable browser during a very short window of time.
In counterparty land, no burns are at risk because almost all burn wallets were cli created. -
That makes sense... there was no web interface for XCP transactions at the beginning of the burn, it was all done user-side.
Dogeparty on the other hand was mostly web wallet.
According to what I know about the hacker, I don't think they were privy to any kind of insider information. Apparently running the old RNG doesn't just cripple the universe of possible seed phrases, it flattens it.
I, however, also do not have the resources to run a fully-committed test that would yield anything in a decent amount of time. -
Ya it’s like you have to scan every ms which is still a lot of search space. And there’s two timestamps taken that can vary slightly. I wasn’t able to get any matches. But I’m not specialized in it. -
-
It’s been a good day; the returns are excellent. -

btw, its nice to see an early counterparty asset creator back in the chat, you created BEARD more than 12 years ago, that's cool! -

Is it possible to issue multiple counterparty assets in one transaction? -
No. Issuance is one transaction, can lock at same time, or leave unlocked to issue more and lock later. -
yes issuance happens in 1 transaction, but can 1 transaction do multiple issuances? or no? -
No. one issuance per transaction. I led with the No as the answer, sorry if the next sentence muddied the clarity there. -

I remember that! I wonder what Adam is up to now. TATIANACOIN was sort of the first music NFT. -

Can lock in that first mint transaction? 🤔 -
In the future it is something the protocol devs plan to incorporate with "batch transactions" ... More info on the counterparty github -
More T than NFT but the idea was there.. it was the first "artist backed token" -
Yes, some wallets offer this feature. Not sure if it's two separate transactions or one though
But "issuance" is the correct term here. Mint either relates to eth/sol stuff or the "fairminting" mechanism on Counterparty -
Copy that.
I meant issuing a token on freewallet -
I just put a good chunk of the supply in a dispenser, 10 FXCOIN for 0.00002 BTC. "First Nutildah token"... could be worth something someday, maybe

Luke has been trying to kill xcp since 2014 lolz -
Wow, did a pretty terrible job of trying to harm bitcoin -
-
-
I need to check the math but recently I pulled 1300 BTC as the amount paid in tx fees to miners by counterparty users -
It might be bloated by some scam dispensers tho -
So not like a quotable as is -
We are literally the only ones using the network -
All seven of us......😆😆😆 -
Zero chance it happens for Bitcoin.. if anything there will be a Lukecoin fork, so it might be hard to run a Counterparty fork on Lukecoin. -
-
Maybe it's time to exposed this monalissa tech to more VC's. -
Translation:
"Hookups, prostitution, gambling, and cashing out—all available."😂 -
You don't think so? Regardless of the technical merits, the fact that core pushed through the changes by deceptive means I think increases the odds of bip110 succeeding -
-
Compromised how? -
Hodlnaut is a moran. Core isn’t compromised they made a rational decision by making it easier for people to store data in a less harmful way -
They have been compromised going back to Epstein. If you read his articles and are affirmed in your respect and confidence in core, that’s on you. -

This is part 3 in a 4 part series written recently about the 2019 to current era of core https://x.com/hodlonaut/status/2066509989531820210hodlonaut #BIP-110 (@hodlonaut) on XCAPTURE An investigation across four articles into how informal power over Bitcoin Core was assembled, exercised, and defended. What power do"they" have over BTC? 🤔 -

Big bad Core meanies did a bad change and hodlonaut says they captured it all like stealing cookies! But we can just run Knots and say no thank you dummy!
He points at words changing and yells "evil plan!!" but it was just fixing papers to match what code already did, boo hoo.
They said it stop yucky data but yucky data still there and bigger now, ha ha their plan no work good! Nodes win anyway silly heads.
FORK AROUND FIND OUT -
FORKWARD:
TIME MAP 4MB pussies want Bitcoin as "digital gold"......? Fuck that. Real Bitcoin devours a star. Dyson swarm. Quintillions of exahashes. Stellar fire hammered into a planetary Time Map — the one true, ever-expanding ledger of civilization’s chronology. Every tx, inscription, meme, and starship log permanently burned in. No rewrites. No memory holes. For time travelers like me, it’s the only true coordinate system in the universes. FORKWARD or stay sterile. Strap the sun to Bitcoin’s balls and ride the Time Map into Type 3, or die a small-block bitch. The Map doesn’t forget. Choose. -

Here's the thing: everyone (and I mean everyone) who claims to know the way on Twitter doesn't. They are just trying to convince you they know the way so they can sell you things or an idea.
This situation is the same for the Core and Anti Core marketing teams, it's just that one side is better funded than the other. They both have agendas. Which one is more favorable to your personal palette is the question you should be asking yourself. -
Here's what a "Epstein era" Core dev who actually worked for Blockstream had to say about the ordeal:

Hello everyone, I'm pleased to announce BITCOIN COUNTERS, a counterparty inscription protocol with numbered inscriptions. https://bitcoincounters.com
Like ordinals, inscriptions are numbered in order of creation. With COUNTERS, every inscription (or COUNTER), is attached to a counterparty asset instead of a rare sat. The counterparty asset can be named, unnamed, subasset, multiple issuance, divisible, anything you decide.
You can see existing counters on the above explorer. There is no minting app yet, to issue a counter you have to run
- a bitcoin node
- a counterparty node
- a counters indexer and command line tool
Setup guide is included in the docs section.
Who wants to inscribe Counter #2?
Open to questionsBitcoin Counters — ExplorerNumbered inscriptions stored in Bitcoin witness data and owned through Counterparty assets, numbered from zero.
