XCP Wallet says

while trying to import the PK of a Nested Segwit "3" address, tried with 2 different keys and it says the same thing, both PKs can be imported to Electrum tho no problem. They do have passwords and they are correct even it says they do not match.

When you make a wallet you need to start with a mnemonic, and it asks you for a password. That password is like your login. When you add a new pk it asks you for that password again.

With apologies, CounterTools and CounterTrader are down since yesterday, after the latest Counterparty node upgrade, I thought I had everything in order, but then my infra found a new way to die.
Disk write performance problems in WSL2 meant my bitcoind docker container started tripling over itself.
I’ve switched across to Windows native bitcoind and the chain is now reindexing.
Up to 2015-11 now; we should be back up in around 8 to 12 hours.

my objective is to issue a token and send it to another address. ttbomk sending an issuance is different than creating the token on their behalf. so, i believe i can make a 0 qty asset and send the ownership token to the buyer.
However, i am unable to both issue a quantity and have the ownership token and full issuance land in the buyer's wallet in one transaction.
So is the key that they send the bitcoin transaction, but i sign it? not really sure how to navigate when im this deep into the protocol -

A quick behind-the-scenes on CounterTools.io
Most of the recent work I've been doing isn't new features. It's making sure the numbers you see are numbers you can trust.
Oracle dispensers. Some dispensers are priced in USD through an oracle, and they store a fiat price where you'd expect satoshis: 888 means $8.88, not 888 sats. Read naively, the most expensive dispenser looks like the cheapest.
I've fixed this at the source for the 106 oracle dispensers live right now, and I'm auditing every other place in my stack that reads dispenser prices. The same fix is going into the @CounterTraderFeed alerts. If you build Counterparty tools, it's worth checking yours.
Dispenser divisibility. A really BIG oooops!
I found nearly half of dispenser records carrying the wrong divisibility flag in the CounterTools database, which throws price and inventory off by a factor of 100 million.
The fix is built and verified; the correction will be applied carefully rather than quickly.
The node. As mentioned above, I'm now on Counterparty Core v11.4.0, upgraded ahead of the required activation height.
Safety rails. My dispenser sync now refuses to run against a node that's mid-rebuild, and a shared check is coming so every job that writes data does the same.
One principle runs through all of it: "there's nothing there" and "we couldn't check" must never look the same.
Slower than shipping features, but it's the foundation everything else stands on.
Still in Alpha, until all asset data and pricing data is confirmed accurate, stable, and reliable.
Ten months into the journey, the learning continues.

A quick behind-the-scenes update on @CounterTrader_io_bot
Same theme as the CounterTools.io update: most of the recent work isn't features, it's making the numbers trustworthy.
Oracle dispensers. The feed has been pricing oracle-backed dispensers as if their stored price were satoshis. It isn't — it's fiat. One card showed ~$211 for a dispenser actually asking ~$3,400. The fix is building now, not yet live. Of 2,129 dispenser cards posted since mid-April, 7 were oracle-backed; 106 oracle dispensers are live across the protocol.
Your holdings export.
/export used to show a single "Value (USD)" that was really the lowest live ask — an asking price, not a value. It now shows Floor and Last Sale side by side, per unit, so you can judge the spread yourself. On one wallet the old column inflated the total 5.8×. That one's shipped.
Balance checks. When the node was unreachable, the bot used to read "you hold nothing" instead of "couldn't check" — which could demote a holder or refuse a listing. Shipped.
One principle throughout: "there's nothing there" and "we couldn't check" must never look the same.
