have you checked multiple btc and counterparty block explorers with your tx id? what does tokenscan say?

what block # has tokenscan updated to? is it the same block # other explorers have updated to?

Does anyone have an opinion on the relative security/safety of desktop wallets like Freewallet vs. browser extension wallets like XCPWallet and Horizon wallet?

My 2 cents, worth almost that much maybe. Huge grain of salt, take it now.

They both suck in terms of security.. I'll never fully trust an electron app like Freewallet, and not just because it wants to phone home (it does) but because it is highly vulnerable to supply chain attacks. Run it on its own old laptop, or at least in a VM.

Having said that, browser extensions are less secure in general. Every website you visit has an opportunity to break the security model via javascript exploit. You'd be hard pressed to find a more complicated piece of software than a modern browser since they now do everything operating systems used to. Personally, I'd love to see a CLI wallet like monero. Having a nice GUI seems to be where compromises must be made.

If I make a tx when Freewallet cannot make an outbound connection, it keeps trying for quite some time? There is no way to tell what is pending AFAIK, so if I think it finally failed and send again, it'll send both sooner or later when it is able to reach out and send those tx. I've accidentally sent multiple assets due to this a few times. TL;DR - pending actions displayed in history tab would be a great feature add if they truly are queued up and will be sent.

It's just letting you know that since you're on mac's ARM64 architecture... thye want you to build apps specifically for that architecture... the current app is built for intel macs (older) and run via rosetta I think... it just means in the future I'll need to update my build process to build on arm64 for macs instead of intel.... I'll be revamping freewallet once XChain is released

It could be the Tokenscan API is down. Best way to check that is to check if tokenscan is caught up on Bitcoin blocks:
