Hey we have a little issue with tokenscan and freewallet management of the description field. When uploading a json file to arweave for permastorage as it's not handled by tokenscan we used a little trick
we use arweave http gateway to serve the file like this
https://arweave.net/jGxVm7yghVDfv39tJds8kRFFrIsGTsg3h-JgXHx_inw/
but since tokenscan require the file to have a .json to the end we used https://arweave.net/jGxVm7yghVDfv39tJds8kRFFrIsGTsg3h-JgXHx_inw/x.json
So we trick it to add x.json
But recently the gateway refuses to this little trick and gives a 404 when adding some random info at the end of the URI.
As a result all the permastorage cards we added to SOG new cards are not displaying on tokenscan. @jdogresorg would it be possible to read the the URI data even if it doens't have the .json at the end ?
Or even better support ar:{arweave_hash} and use the gateway to render the ressources
like https://arweave.net/{arweave_hash}

In order to trip dispenser the amount has to be exact multiple of cost of dispense correct?
So if someone sent 1.5 x the corn needed it would not trip the dispenser?

The trouble is not with "x.json" but with arweave.net. A patch has been promised, but it's been more than a month.
If I take your link and modify it to this: https://gateway.ar.io/jGxVm7yghVDfv39tJds8kRFFrIsGTsg3h-JgXHx_inw/x.json it works.
But, you will need to re-write it to modify your image addressees to something other than arweave.net.

yeah thats why it would be better to be able to just put the ar:hash and let the platform "tokenscan" "freewallet" reroute the a working gateway. Otherwise we have to change the description onchain of each asset everytime the gateway change it's url scheme

yeah bro... I can prolly make a tweak to tokenscan.io on monday... the FreeWallet update will take longer (prolly a few weeks to a month)... ideally I would prefer not to request conetnt unless I am reasonably sure what that content is... hence why the .json extension... so I can be reasonably sure taht the content is json versus me just blindly requesting some content and it turning out to be some huge image file or something... if you can wait for next week for a tokenscan.io fix and next month for a freewallet fix, then I can handle this... if getting this fixed faster than that is a prioritry, I suggest doing some mass asset description updates.. stuff a bunch in the mempool at low fee, then push a high fee tx through so that it forces all the other low-fee txs to settle. - 02 May 2026 (10 messages)

I just pushed up some changes to address this issue... if you could take a look at your tokens on tokenscan.io now and let me know if the issue is resolved, it would be much appreciated... once you confirm it works for you, I'll implement the update into freewallet, xchain explorer, xchain-wallet, the xchain Token Information Spec (add the AR: prefix, etc)

I just worked with Claude to dig into the issues and address them.... .Mainly just tweaking the logic associated with when I request content and display it on screen.... though I also did a major overhaul on my icon handling and went from five different ways to parse data from asset description into icons into a single unified method..... And got around to finally fixing the imager image issues..... Turns out my previous scripts were pretty lazy and were just spamming requests to Imgur over the last five years. And I actually got the server IP addresses blacklisted from both Imgur Normal and Imgur API..... Simple fix though, since I have 10 plus IP addresses on the servers, I just told Claude to route the requests to appear as if they came from the non-blocked IP addresses and routed the requests through Cloudflare workers and things are working better than ever now.

It's actually pretty helpful and I would say it has leveled up my coding and interactions with Claude significantly as I no longer have to type much at all...... if you decide to go this route make sure you choose the whisper large transcription model it's about a gig to download and it's a bit slower than some of the other models but the accuracy is almost perfect

Yeah I found that too... the Forge fixes this as it's mostly an arweave domain issue
But yeah for things to work on fw and tokenscan you need the new domain AND /name.filetype so "/creatureicon.png" or "/creature.json" -
I would be more than happy to give the forge to whoever wants to incorporate it

I wanted to play around with AI inv arious projects... so writing a general AI toolkit that handles generating audio, video, financial payments system, etc... so I can just spin up an intake bot, have a conversation with her about my idea or what I want to accomplish... flesh it out into a spec, then have it auto-build the system, spin up the appropriate agents to manage the virtual business/project, etc

I got a bunc of review systems taht analyze the system... and generate reports and findings and probes and specs... those are pushed through the review system autonomously (agents do digs to do reseearch on each item, review findings, do additional research)... so that at the end of the day I just wind up with an inbox with reviews that are fully researched and all I gotta do is just click approve / reject or choose one of the proposed solutions.

well... at first I was running into the wall pretty quick.... hitting limits.. wen from claude account to 5x to 20x to multiple 20x accounts in the span of about 2 weeks.... now that most of my projects are built out.. and streamlined, claude has enough context from the project itself to not need any "perfect prompts"... like "You are an expert in blah blah"... now I can just spin up a session and be like "bet recommendations look slow bro... dig into it"... and "you spent 10 minutes thinking on this? wtf bro"..

game-changer was having rules that have it detect when it automatically violates its own rules and then always re-inforces the rule so it doesn't forget in the future.... eventually it hits the sweet spot with the rules so it works how you want it without annoying you too much 🙂

also found it very helpful for larger projects to break things up into sub-repositories... then move the CLAUDE.md file out of those repos and up into a claude/components/<component-name>/CLAUDE.md file.... and then just tell claude to automatically load those files for context on the component before working on the component... keeps the context window cleaner for most things and provides the right amount of context when you do actually touch those repos

The M4 Max is good, but from what I've read, the M3 Ultra is currently the best option on the market due to its GPU offerings.... 80 GPU cores is pretty awesome.... And primarily I'm just getting it to play around with locally in development and help me make better research. But yeah, eventually I might provide a public API to some of my projects and offload some of the stuff that I pay other APIs for, like voice and image generation, swarm model analysis, etc to my local LLM.... Ideally, I wanna run what makes sense, locally, and then only pay externally for stuff that is high demand with a quick turnaround time, like real-time video chats and whatnot.

I also built a /share command that Builds out a nice markdown file with whatever I'm working with Claude on and then renders it in a headless Chrome browser and screenshots it... I found I was wasting too much time resizing my ultra wide windows to make screenshots to share with some of my business partners.

I also found that I was wasting too much time with tweets and trying to figure out if the data was real or if it was engagement farming. So, I spent some time with Claude to write up a tweet report command so I can just feed it a tweet and it digests the content and gives me an honest review of the content and tells me how it may or may not be applicable to my existing projects.... I also trained it to digest videos by having it download the video, extract the audio from the video, do audio to text dumping, and then use the text from the video as information that it loads into its context window.

So with just a simple copy and paste of an interesting tweet like this.... I am able to generate a report and get the TLDR in a few seconds.

far as how do i use it outside the house i do a remote control in cloud in the sessions that i want to take on the go with me and then those sessions appear in the app on the phone so i can just use voice to text or type.... And yeah, generally it can be a lot of reading if you need to diagnose what it's saying.... Most of the time, I do a good amount of prompting before I execute on something, so a spec is usually written for Claude to go and follow where there's no confusion on anything, which allows it to just continuously build.... I tell it to stop at 50% context window or when it needs to actually ask me questions. And then when it does stop, I ask it to tell me what I need to know so that I can do a easy copy paste to the next cloud session to continue. And then I just click the copy button on my phone, type clear to clear the context window and then paste from the previous session.

Did you wait a few minutes to see if the transaction was generated. Sometimes it can take a couple minutes if you have a lot of UTXOs.

You can't clone the tag @davesta so the scammer is either hiding the tg tag or has a small spelling difference. You are expected to check and verify (because, as always I will NEVER dm or reach out that way).
Getting help for fw you are expected to create an issue in the freewallet desktop GitHub, if you post for help here... Expect to be patient, this chat is for the community to help you publicly.
In 2016 it was "beware of fake theos" , in 2021 it was "beware of fake Jdogs" now it's "beware of fake davestas, subterraneans, and niftyboss's" ....

Same like with your ledger, if your device is faulty you can just use the seedphrase on a new device and you would have to reset a password again.
