The hack is frustrating and whilst it was devastating for a few big holders. I’m realy sorry for your loss, but it’s just not a big deal in terms of the validity of the Dogeparty project as a whole.

The cause of the hack was discovered, it affects a few people and whilst XDP is compromised for now. The ecosystem is still fully working.

The main issue for artists is you need XDP for naming tokens.
Is it possible to change this to Doge @jdogresorg ? If it remains XDP, if a new project takes off, people will want to buy XDP again, and they will buy the cheapest, which would ultimately benefit the hacker.

Again, I’m sorry. The crypto Wild West has caused us all big losses, and when it happens there is no way to get it back, except spin the wheel and try again.

Spose we could implement something similar to what I am doing on xchain.... which is calculate the cost the needed XDP in FIAT.. and then just sending that amount in the native coin (DOGE).... so you can pay for dogeparty txs without the need for XDP.... tho would need a price oracle integrated into the platform to keep track of DOGE/FIAT..... and still have the underlying issue of XDP.... Could prolly pivot to a different model that doesn't use XDP and instead just target a set fiat amount for actions... $0.50 for issuance, etc.... anything is possible, but requires community consensus and discussion.

Anyway… as I mentioned to you earlier, your AirDrop idea doesn’t hold water because you’re gonna be airdropping to the same addresses that I have been hacked in our vulnerable. Any AirDrop to existing XDP holders has the exact same issue that we have with XDP right now….. unless you plan to go through the entire ledger and blacklist every address that you know is a hacker address…. At which point we’re right back to being a centralized.

To be clear I proposed the idea because I was asked directly if there was anything that could be done, and I was trying to think of a proposal that hasn’t already been proposed like your proposals of giving money to the hacker and buying back funds or airdropping to XDP to everyone, including the hacker, thereby solving nothing….. or playing a constant game of Waccamaw and updating blacklist at which point like I said we prove we’re not a decentralized protocol.

I am still love the mindset that the best solution is to simply wait and not take drastic actions, or attack other community members who don’t like my idea🤷🏻‍♂️

I don't really understand. Seems you put all your eggs in one basket. Burn was also a sort of investment. In the world of investments,some work some don't. This one was one with high risk anyway

Please support people like me too then. We bought a single jollyroger for 12k from the dispensers. Bought DOGEPENNY, doge dollar all from dispensers. Bitbeg at 2500 doge each. All those supplies have been stolen too. We supported the HNFT issuers, supported Dogeparty by buying them and now their value is gone.

I had terrible things happen to me in life since im very much old now and is like grandma material lol beaten up literally 4yrs got thrown in corporate mass media circus 20+ yrs then thrown in looney bin 2yrs now in crypto 6yrs going strong i dont really have bags never could hold bags cos was always short wiyh survival funds with pennies and dusts i get so i cant relate or have much option about that but
1.def not good to encourage buying stolen goods

I always liked https://easyasset.art/ but it says I dont have enoygh AR tokens! And when I try to get some it doesn't work

I tend to use Imgur links, you just have to modify the link a little to get it to work

I think I even used one of those sites like Simpleswap or whatever to get the AR. It's been a good two years or so I think.
