I figured I'd bump this chat, for any OGs who haven't seen the warning about old Dogeparty wallets getting drained

    https://x.com/dogermint/status/2069205450768437270
    dogermint (@dogermint) on X

750 old Dogecoin addresses identified as compromised so far; >120k $DOGE, 114K $XDP, and 1000s of assets stolen. Addresses have 1 thing in common: participation in the 2014 Dogeparty burn. If you participated, consider your wallet at risk. Below is a timeline & explanation 1/🧵

Since my problem was really just a server issue, I’m deleting all the details to compact things. Hopefully, we’ll see new dogeparty blocks soon.
  • @jdogresorg
  • How much dogecoin do you use for the transaction(s)?
  • @robmbtc #178724 04:56 PM, 11 Jul 2026
0.01 - but if the TX is confirmed, then it should be good, right?
  • @robmbtc #178725 05:04 PM, 11 Jul 2026
I just realize I don't see any Dogeparty transactions since 8 days ago, so maybe the parser/indexer is stalled. So I guess I'll just hold tight. Thanks @SECRETDANKS for pinging jdog. I always hate bugging people, but perhaps that made sense.
  • @Crazyzapped #178726 05:07 PM, 11 Jul 2026
    https://dogeparty.tokenscan.io/blocks
Blocks last formed a day ago
  • Ahhh, That's actually above my knowledge of how things work. I was just looking for token movement, etc.
  • Because blocks aren't forming, you are not able to see your recent transaction. Most probably it has gone through and it will be reflected on chain once blocks are up to date.
  • Gotcha. Well, that's encouraging. Good to know I should check that link in the future if I'm having an issue. Thank you!
  • Should be fixed now I’m in the middle of a server migration in consolidation so one of the servers hiccups and stopped parsing blocks… all good now
  • Thank you! Yes, working fine now for me.

    Hello!

The Dogeparty wallet has been down for a week now, and the blockchain status indicator is red.Are there any updates on whether

it will be back online soon?I have coins in my wallet.

I managed to log in by changing the network, but when I try to send coins, I get an API error.

Could the developers please comment on this issue or suggest a workaround?

    Thanks!
  • Hello, are using web or desktop version?
  • @FenrisMau #178789 12:49 PM, 28 Jul 2026
I just looked, looks like blocks have stopped 4 days ago and needs repair 😃
  • Got it, thanks! Do you have any rough ETA on when it might be fixed?
  • When Jdog gets back on he can probably give you an answer on that. :)
  • By the time Jdog actually gets around to fixing this, everyone will have already moved to a different wallet. :)))
  • @FenrisMau #178793 01:05 PM, 28 Jul 2026
Good luck finding another wallet lol
  • Ok. I hope the whole chat is reading this right now. Great way to treat your users. :)
  • Just stating that the Dogeparty wallet is the only one that can accept Dogeparty assets. We have to be patient because Jdog is a very busy man.
  • I understand, but when a wallet's blockchain is down, one person being busy is a poor excuse for a financial service. To be honest, I don't care about XDP assets anyway; I only used it because it was convenient for DOGE. And as you know, there are plenty of alternative wallets for DOGE.
  • I understand it can be frustrating, it can happen time to time here as work is done on the system. If youre only using it for Doge, it might be good to explore another, there are many, like you said.
  • Appreciate the honest answer. I will do exactly that. Good luck with the system repairs.
  • You can still export your private key into another Dogecoin wallet, that's the best thing to do right now
  • @FR13NDY1 #178800 09:13 PM, 28 Jul 2026
This is a total project failure, guys. An absolute epic fail. When two admins publicly admit the wallet is dead and basically tell users 'Fly, you fools!'... That says everything about the project. 😂
  • sorry for that, i really was trying to help you solve your problem
  • @nutildah #178802 09:14 PM, 28 Jul 2026
I wouldn't say its dead, I'd say @jdogresorg just needs to get it up and running again
  • @FR13NDY1 #178803 09:17 PM, 28 Jul 2026
Call it whatever you want, but if a financial service stops working for a week just because one person is away, for the users it's effectively dead. Glad to hear it might come back though. Good luck!

It's fixed. Issue is just a service that needed restarting.... In the future if you guys run into this Just DM me.. I wasn't aware of the issue.
  • Complaining is not going to get you anywhere though. It is very easy to complain but what about finding solutions? You just came out of the blue moaning, help us find solutions I think you would be using your time more wisely that way.
  • Thanks for the quick fix and the direct update! Appreciate you jumping in and sorting it out so fast. I'll definitely DM you next time.🤝
  • Finding solutions? The solution WAS telling Jdog. That’s literally your job as the mod team. Instead, you guys spent a whole week posting emojis, being toxic, and telling users to move to other wallets, while Jdog didn't even know the server was down. I think the admin team is the one who needs to use their time more wisely. 😉
  • a "whole week"? are you sure it wasn't closer to 7 hours? your problem is solved, you're welcome.
  • One of your admin team members literally said at the start of this chat that blocks stopped 4 days ago. Now you're claiming it was 7 hours? You guys can't even agree on your own timestamps.Let's just close this dialogue. This kind of active energy from you was needed when I first came here with a problem, not now. At least now that Jdog replied, I actually know where to go for real help next time. Thanks again to Jdog for fixing it. I'm out. ✌️

  • blah blah... something the user gets for free and doesn't pay anthing for broke for a few hours.... rather that reporting it and waiting for it to get fixed, he decided the better route was to throw a tempertantrum, insult the platform, and then rage-quit

Some people just like to argue for the sake of arguing and thety are never wrong (anyone ever chatted with Stack... lol).... anyway, no biggie, sites and services are up, all is well with the world, and i'm back on xchain dev 🙂

  • A few hours? Your own team publicly confirmed blocks were stopped for 4 days. Free? Users trust your platform with their real funds, and you collect network transaction fees. I DID report it responsibly, but instead of you being informed, your admin team spent days posting emojis and telling me to go to competitors. If pointing out a 4-day node blackout and non-existent support is a 'temper tantrum' to you, then the professionalism of this project is a total joke. Spamming the chat with GIFs won't hide the facts — you can drown the history in memes, but the blockchain logs don't lie. Facts over feelings. 🤫🤡👎🏽
  • @jdogresorg #178830 02:53 PM, 29 Jul 2026
my "admin"... this is a volunteer project... as soon as I became aware of the issue, I dove into it and solved it... if it had been escalated to me via DM earlier, prolly would have gotten fixed earlier... anyway.. not here to fight with you.... My time is better spent building things rather than pointless circular bickering..... TLDR, its back up, your able to do what you want.... and as far as "professionalism".... bro.... are you on BTC? or are you on Dogecoin.... a friggin meme coin.
  • @jdogresorg #178831 02:55 PM, 29 Jul 2026
Sounds like maybe dogeparty (the biggest thing on dogecoin) and the volunteer and trustless nature of things might be not what your looking for.... if your looking for 100% uptime and professionalism..... go use a centralized custody wallet and risk losing your funds.... remember, its all volunteer here bro.
  • @jdogresorg #178832 02:55 PM, 29 Jul 2026
anyway, have a nice day.. disengaging now.

  • @FR13NDY1 #178835 02:57 PM, 29 Jul 2026
You are confusing blockchain 'trustless' nature with your centralized server architecture. The node crashed on your end, not on the blockchain. Excusing a 4-day blackout and terrible support by saying 'it’s just a volunteer meme coin' is the lamest cop-out ever. Dogecoin handles billions of dollars, it's not a playground for lazy devs.To be honest, after your first reply, I thought you were the only reasonable person here. Clearly, I was wrong. Watching you hide behind your mods, write cringe lyrics, and tell users to go to centralized wallets just because you can't keep a server running shows you're no better than them. Total disappointment. Disengaging now. ✌️
  • @jdogresorg #178836 02:58 PM, 29 Jul 2026
hide behind my mods? I dunno wtf your talking about bro.... u big mad at someone... anyway, l8r g8r
