Hey everyone, it pains me to have to say this, but at least 5 Dogeparty wallets have been compromised in less than a months time. This has led to the theft of thousands of assets and over 110k XDP.
It is important that everybody take a moment to run a deep virus scan on their computer and lock their Dogewallet, which can be done by clicking on the lock icon in the upper-right corner.
Assets from approx. 18 addresses have been moved via Sends, Multisends and Sweeps. Only old wallets have been targeted/affected for now. If your computer is clean and secure, you don't need to take any action. Just stay frosty. -
Dogeparty (@DogepartyXDP) on X🚨 ATTENTION DOGEPARTY USERS 🚨 There has been a rash of wallet compromises within the last month. Please take a moment to: ✅ run a thorough virus scan on your computer ✅ lock your Dogewallet with a password (🔓 icon in upper-right corner) Be vigilant. Updates to follow.

Yo fren, hey Dogeparty. I lost my mother yesterday and it's debilitating on me. What a tragedy! -
-
Condolences for your loss. The passing of a parent is a painful experience. Sorry to hear! -
Very sorry -
I hope everyone understands that with the hacking and stealing of 110k XDP, it's devalued for a pretty good time. Hacker has already put up a 3.3 doge dispenser. He can continue putting it at lower with the kind of XDP bank he has -
Same is the case with Bitbegs and the other ancient relic tokens. -
Dogeparty ceases to exist as we know it. The hacker can manipulate prices as and how he likes it. And since they aren't the original issuers , they wouldn't be worried about investors or legacy. -
It was a pretty dumb move by the hackers wrt Dogeparty atleast. With this devaluation of tokens including of XDP, now almost none would be interested to keep it alive and with Xchain coming up , most will transition there. So we the collectors might be in soup but the stealing wouldn't have done you much good either. This place will now wither away -
And I know you are reading this. This message is for you only. You were a little too greedy this time -
Wow, brother. I'm really sorry to hear that. I'll keep you in my thoughts and send positive vibes your way and hope that things get a little bit easier to deal with going forward. -
This time??? So...is someone we actually know? That makes it even worse -
Very obvious Rob.. be safe. Do not click on any links from anyone even if you have known the person since 2021 -
That's all that I can say. Take care of yourself peeps. I never trusted these ppl but a few did and that has landed everyone in this soup -
-
You are too trusting sweetheart as was Spiller. -
-
It was a surprise for me that Spiller got taken in. But not the shit that happened. -

I don't know what to say -

Just coding and enjoying life... how are you there @Dagonero_xmr? -
I am fine thank you Jdog. Thanks to Claude I am now able to code too. While this may bring a smile on your face as a real coder. For non coders like me it's a godsend what is possible with Claude. Enjoying life tho was never an issue. -
That brings a smile to my face because we all should be able to be as creative as we want and explain our ideas in a way that makes sense to other humans and then have AI be able to turn those ideas into actual functioning code.... The combination of cloud code, a virtual machine that can write smart contracts, and a A standardized token system that can run on any blockchain means anything is possible in the future for anyone. -
-
I've been working on some stuff to allow me to just chat with a virtual AI person and explain my ideas and then have it execute those ideas on the back end.... right now the tool is just for me but eventually might open it up for public consumption so that people can build ideas by simply having a conversation with a persona of their choosing and all the rest of the stuff is automatically built out on the back end -
Get them to do whatever you want 🤣 -
-
Yep, that's the general idea is be able to just have an idea, chat with the intake agent about my idea, flesh out a spec, have the system automatically determine what agents would be needed to run that idea or business, convert the spec into a plan, build out the basic proof of concept for the idea, spin up AI agent employees that look at the project from different angles, and then be able to put a persona and embodiments and attach them to any of the AI agents so that I can have video conference calls with all of them talking and learning from one another so that I can have them calling me when something needs my attention, etc. -
This is a great and useful sideproject. I couldnt agree more as you described above, currently my mind is blown away from all the new possibilities we have for anyone who has access to AI. i really do hope that this access wont be censored as so often or the capacity of the machine is going to get lowered so you cant finish your goals with this new technology any more. For this reason i do try to do as much as possible to bring ideas into life. But i think censorship wont be easily possible this time because else the chinese are going to open up their AI to anybody if the US doesnt. -
The archieved results for me as a non coder are brilliant, but not yet for the public and has nothing to do with Blockchain. Luckily i was able to get some fresh air apart from all tokens and chaineconomy. -
Well, one piece of advice I have for you as you build with AI is one, make sure that you set yourself up for being able to execute on your ideas with LLMs locally so that if the scenario that you're worried about where AI becomes priced so high that only a few people can do it, you're still able to execute what you want locally, even if it's at a slower pace.... .Also be wary of integrating AI into all of your projects. Every single time you integrate an AI into your project, there's a operational cost associated with it.... build with AI and build intelligent systems, but make sure that those systems do not require ongoing AI. And if they do, make sure it is minimal. That way you can run your systems entirely independent of reliance on third-party AI providers and their scaling pricing models. -
Very good forward looking advice and its true, i am already thinking about this scenario, the drugs are real, you cant go back after going full AI. Not only for private side projects but also for real work that earns you your daily living expenses. -
yeah i would say the only difference between a software developer that has a full-time history and many years of software development experience versus a vibe coder is that you can generally set out on the same task but the vibe coder is going to have a much more difficult time because it's building things one piece at a time without keeping an eye on the overall picture of how the data is organized how you are integrating these systems are you doing cross checks between all of these systems to make sure that they operate well together etc... think that's my only real value right now is being able to visualize how the system should be designed on the back end and guide the AI towards intelligent system design rather than just saying make me a website that does magical stuff. -
True! But, struggling to run a larger than 30bn parameter LLM locally, base Mac mini. And it’s prohibitively expensive to switch to studio and beyond -
Very true. Once you get feeding off the AI teat, it's difficult to wean yourself off. I started three months ago with Anthropic, and I tried to downshift to other models. I've tried Deep Seek, I've tried some others, and none of them stack up to Anthropic's Opus.... So it's kind of a double-edged sword. Yes, you can build incredible things. However, you're also getting yourself hooked on digital caviar. And downshifting to a dumber model makes everything else taste like garbage. -
80% of the time involved in a coding project with AI is error analysis, testing, solving (again with AI), and think about the bigger picture (is this what i am doing really safe), are guards in place that protect me or allow me to grow bigger in X time. -
-
Wen AI bot marriage -
Good luck 🍀 🤞🙃 -
My advice right now would be build what you can, have fun, but focus on trying to squeeze out some profit so that you can then afford hardware that starts offloading your LLM needs to stuff that you can run locally.... can't always assume that this technology is going to be affordable to everyone... But if you can squeeze out some profit, then you can afford to buy some better and better equipment. And pretty soon you're running your own data center and LLMs completely independent of relying on a third party. -
-

-
I feel you, also started about 3 month ago with Claude. Now for heavy tasks i even dont use Opus 4.7 alone but let an Opus 4.6 Agent cross check before and often after work has been implemented for dependencies or errors lol -
I won’t be surprised if it’s already happening -
that be double usage of both opus models. and if necessary for clarifications i give the result as audit code to Codex. -
one AI corrects the other AI. -
Local + cloud hybrid -
design a system right you can handle it automatically detecting errors and doing cross checks and whatnot building a test suite to look at the current state of how things are running and making sure that it doesn't break is like 10 of the battle building a testing system that looks at the systems that you are integrating and how they interface with one another and automatically builds new tests and new testing structures and surfaces problems with those that's the way of the future you don't want to be stuck doing testing yourself and you don't want to be stuck with a static testing model that doesn't adapt as new data emerges -
running completely local is the ultimate goal. I am not there yet its all fun for the moment, we will see what we have in 12 month from now it will be completely different. -
thank for advice. it already gives me thoughts for how to handle the fun project after "its done". the testing wrench is real and to build automation for this purpose needs to be its own chapter. -
dankserver :) thats awesome. next level stuff for the moment i can only think about. interesting the question "what inspired you to do the tattoo". like real human interaction thoughts not only answering. -
-
So is this helpful to realize the virtual AI personal that is working locally instead of cloud? -
7k is not much as an hardware investment in a lets say 10-20-30 people company who might get their own assistent. -
The system I'm building is still in flux, but yeah, the long-term goal is to just be able to build a whole bunch of models that I can spin up and interact with at any point and have it all run locally. The only thing I really would be paying for is like minutes to chat with the AI bot, but everything else like essentially dumps to my local server. So I have a chat conversation with an AI, you know, flows naturally, the transcript is caught locally, and then I can generate a spec from the transcript and then I can take that spec and hand it over to Claude or whatever LLM agent I'm using and have it actually execute the spec and build it out. -
That device specifically is primarily going to be allowing me to play with Swarm models. And yeah, I can use it for some stuff like some processing, some generating of voices, offloading some of my operational costs to my local device. But the majority of what I do, it's still pretty complex. And so I need that digital, anthropic caviar, for the time being at least.... The way I look at it is you're using the smartest AI model to build systems that then monitor and manage themselves without having to use AI to maintain themselves. -
or only use the smartest newest AI model then to get recommendations from or cross checks to improve locally even more. -
-
-
-
you are totally on the right path my friend -
-
-
-
-
i came to the conclusing that the only bottleneck there is are we, as humans. we can only interact with AI X amount of time a day, evenwhen we pay for all extra usage, we have to sleep and eat and not constantlydoing brain work. -
Yeah, AI has reached a point where the human is still needed to make the critical decisions, but we are limited by our flesh suit needs of sleep and food.... If you are building intelligent systems to monitor the stuff that you're doing, I would suggest taking the time to build in a confidence rating so that as you, the human, are interacting with the system and approving and rejecting things, you also are keeping track of how confident this AI system is in its suggestions. So that down the road, you can flip a switch that says the AI has been confident in 80% of its decisions, and in all of those decisions that the human has said, okay, just do it, it is turned down with a positive outcome, so you can enable automatic approving of items above a certain confidence threshold.... Basically, self-learning AI systems that are allowed to execute autonomously on improvements. So the human needs to be involved less and less in making decisions. The only time a human needs to be involved is early on in the beginning where you are manually deciding approve or reject decisions. And then the AI learns from those feedback systems and is able to start executing stuff on its own..... I'm not there yet. I'm not letting clod code execute code changes yet. I got at least another few months of manually approving stuff before I am confident in flipping the switch to allow it to control and monitor itself. -
Also, one thing that I found which helped me execute way more efficiently is getting away from the keyboard.... We can speak faster than we can type. So consider starting to interact with your AI agent using your voice. -
LinkHandy is a cross platform, open-source, speech-to-text application for your computer
-
But just make sure that you use a voice-to-text model that is highly accurate so you don't wind up saying something and autocorrect fucks it up and then you send the fucked up thing to the AI. -
-
Interacting with AI like a human and letting it execute like an AI is the best balance, I think. -
nice thanks for posting -
interesting, same here already, i do try to speak as much with AI. not only its faster but your hands and fingers will say thank you to you in 10-20 years. talking and changing everything by keyboard is a pain at the end of the day. -
but i hesitated to do it for detailed instructions, as i have found out the claude voice recognition is utter shit. -
Yeah, I've heard that before, that the voice recognition model for Claude is shit.... I interact with Claude through the command line, so I don't use any of the app Claude stuff. Only time I use the Claude, other than the command line, is when I allow it to do a remote control session, so that I can go out and have dinner or go out on a date and still just be able to open my phone, see what's going on with it, and use my voice to tell it, like, okay, that sounds good, keep building or commit and push or, you know, whatever. -
-
-
one month ago when dispatch came out i tried it and it never deleted its chat history so the token consumption by sending commands via phone was skyhigh. didnt found a setting to reset the history. should give it a new try. -
else its the ultimate i am at the beach while my AI at home is working for me by commands i send by phone and sipping on cocktails -
and when this process is all going by voice through local LLM, as described above, peak goal has been archieved 5% of human time necessary to do 80% of work results by AI -
the more i think about it the more i need this scenario as a complete test environment -
Oh yeah, that's another thing is you definitely want to review your plot code memory and how you set up context pretty carefully.... The projects that I build are pretty large, and so I break it up into individual repositories and components, and I don't want to load one giant CLOD file with everything in it to pollute the context window, so I train CLOD on each individual component and have it generate a CLOD file, and then I put those CLOD files in specific directories, and in the main CLOD prompt, I tell it to load the relevant CLOD file for the component before speaking on it intelligently. This allows me to keep the context window small, and only focused on the specific items that I am working on, while at the same time keeping it easy for CLOD to build. This allows me to have full context of what each component is, as needed. -
also found it very helpful for larger projects to break things up into sub-repositories... then move the CLAUDE.md file out of those repos and up into a claude/components/<component-name>/CLAUDE.md file.... and then just tell claude to automatically load those files for context on the component before working on the component... keeps the context window cleaner for most things and provides the right amount of context when you do actually touch those repos -
-
### Component Context Required
Before analyzing, modifying, or answering questions about a specific sibyl-*
component, first read `claude/components/<component-name>/CLAUDE.md`.
These are the authoritative source for component internals. -

-
Just sharing some free alpha... in case your interested 🙂 -
-
I am still at one giant folder with no specific sub folders and instructions. but i do realize i need to go the next step and do exactly this. keep it small and dedicated in each sub folder. i send one command in a specific session which i am working on for quite some time now, already offloaded work into new prompts and sessions, but one task consumed at once 10% of session tokens with opus 4.7. cant work this way. -
-
wassup dogers -
I use Claude CLI, so I wrote a little status bar that tells me what model I'm in, what percentage of the context window is filled, how much I've spent in this session, how many minutes the session has been open, what branch of the code I'm on, etc.... Having something like this really helps you hone in on making sure that you get the best performance out of things and reset the context window whenever it gets higher than 50%. -
thank for sharing, already put all of this in Jdog folder on desktop for later analysis and brain thoughts. -
Happy to help, brother. Teamwork makes the dream work. -
I love that Tony Soprano face, brother. -

Hey guys,
I just want you guys to know that the hacker is trying to sell tokens from my wallet & others. Its this most recent batch of dispensers.
Please do me and the rest of us a favor and don't buy from them.
I'm positive this address belongs to the hacker as they also took 153 XDP from my address.
Thanks for your attention. -

Would be nice if you could tell us who it is, so no one has law can lose loses theirs.
So am I correct, that it’s all based upon clicking on a link and if you haven’t clicked on it, you are ok? -
Sucks sorry to hear this. -
I don’t think anyone has an idea what’s going on - it seems to be only the original burn addresses -
Not of Lord Glen. His was a 2021 wallet -
-
Yes basically... I think this is how people are getting got on the XCP side of things. On the XDP side of things all but 1 of the wallets was old, and in some cases the owner hadn't moved anything from it in years, if ever. -
Very sus -

If u know who it is tell me in dm -

I don’t know completely what I am about to say because I’m not a programmer, but putting things together I have heard before.
Could this be the first quantum attack. Where someone is using AI to randomly trying to guess seed phrases looking for positive XDP or XCP balances as proof of a used wallet address?
Then it either auto drains all tokens to their own address or more likely it just provides a list of these wallets to the hacker with the XDP/xcp balance, who then looks and drains all the tokens manually?
If so might be worth spreading our XDP/XCP into some empty wallets with nothing else in it. So the hacker only gets the XDP/xcp and nothing else.

ATTENTION DOGEPARTY USERS
Hackers are currently attempting to sell tokens stolen from old Dogeparty wallets. Please check the source of the tokens before deciding to make any dispenser purchases. Addresses confirmed as belonging to the hackers include:
DNn6rm3Nyj1Cv2P5C1YmYbd2PrdHQod2Nx
DKcJuxMgcmLaDVLuVwMLK8xGWvh1vAZzjn
DPU1qmsXWZmxuD8NcxmxjsLz21NuQAr45o
DRsG7pwYWs9zHPYwiMYqioP3suqZK6dpuM
At this point, all wallets created in 2014 are considered vulnerable. If you have an old wallet, please create a new wallet (preferably offline on a clean device) and use the sweep function to transfer assets from all the addresses in your old wallet to the new one.
You can DM me if you have any questions or concerns. - 19 May 2026 (59 messages)
-
Hello owner of DBNapxtkJohYvxp7hYkpdLqn5GDo6dSnn4
Can you please explain why you have been sending tokens to DPU1qmsXWZmxuD8NcxmxjsLz21NuQAr45o (the scammer dispenser addy) through this addy and through your other LOONEYTUNES issuing addy DHoAnGrdjEzEVzKQPiumcc2VQuGRiEguL6 since the past so many days ? -
Do you mean if someone used a wallet from 2014 to participate in the Burn Event and swapped the Dogecoins to Dogeparty, now he has to download the new wallet and move all XDP into a new wallet adress with a new private key? Just downloding the current wallet version and updating the old wallet software is not sufficient?
-
If you downloaded the Dogewallet and use it to make seed phrases, those are all fine.
Its the seed creation method used by the original web wallet in 2014 that is the problem. -
Was there something similar to Counterwallet for Doge back then @nutildah? -
Did it use less words or something? What makes it easier to hack? -
-
oh I see. So the technology/encryption wasn't as strong -
But freewallet desktop should be "safe" -
-
There's no other alternative is there? -
-
Correct. I've used the web wallet in 2014 to swap the DOGE to XDP and got a passphrase with 12 words. Are the XDP safe?
-
No, they are not -
-
-
-
How do I import the passphrase from the web wallet to desktop wallet?
-
-
Feel free to DM me if you want to discuss me -
-
But how do I import the passphrase? At "Address Actions, Change Address"?
-
-
Wouldn't importing a weak passphrase from web wallet into desktop wallet defeat the purpose? Or am I missing something -
-
-
Sorry you're having to deal with this @nutildah. You're handling it surprisingly well.
Your pain is probably saving others from it -
-
-
-
Your concerns I find valid. But what do you suggest? Rolling back transactions? -
-
-
-
-
-
-
There’s no good solution.. -
-
-
-
There’s no perfect outcome here. Not advocating for a fork.. -
-
I guess theres no good way to freeze the scammers wallets either... -
-
Everyone should be aware that these are the hackers main addresses at the moment:
DNn6rm3Nyj1Cv2P5C1YmYbd2PrdHQod2Nx
DKcJuxMgcmLaDVLuVwMLK8xGWvh1vAZzjn
DPU1qmsXWZmxuD8NcxmxjsLz21NuQAr45o
DRsG7pwYWs9zHPYwiMYqioP3suqZK6dpuM
Please do not buy tokens that have been at these addresses. -
-
You need to make a completely new doge address with new seed and sweep everything ASAP to your new address. All the old passphrase wallets from 2014 are extremely vulnerable. -
This isn’t a hack per say —- it’s a fatal flaw in the wallet security
This wasn’t user error -
-
Yeah, you right this is not a simple hack. -
-
Yes, no matter what we do, we will receive criticism
But doing the right thing, that is fair, is most important
And you never know, it might bring us a lot of attention -
It will affect all non active users from 2014 also
We would essentially be giving them the boot -
Very curious 😁 you literally are one of the OGs and we didn't know you were a part of this group till now.
Do you have any old tokens registered back then? We like investing in oldies but goldies and if you have some , it would be pretty valuable now I guess. If you could share or may be share the addy, will look around. -
Them not being active is detrimental in the current situation anyway. The hacker might get their addys, their tokens , their XDPs and flood DP with more stolen goods and destroy DP further. -
No, old tokens. I'm just a big fan of the project.
-
Ahh ok. Just Berned Doge for XDP then ? -
Burned it 🔥 so it could rise again like a phoenix. The potential is still huge. Hope we can get rid of this plague soon!
-
In that case you need to move your XDP asap from the 2014 passphrase wallet.
Hacker has already harvested around 165,000 xdp from old addies. - 20 May 2026 (8 messages)
-
I purchased XDP unknowingly from the scammer via dispenser. The scammer rewarded my purchase (other peoples) with bonus XDP (sent with a memo). As a thank you for the bonus gesture, I sent the seller some of the tokens I created, not knowing the full situation. I regret doing that now that I understand this person is a bad actor.
-
By any chance, are you the Pinkshirtguy 🙂 ? -
Never mind 😁 thanks for clearing the air, otherwise we were doing a back search on your addies in both counterparty , dogeparty and twitter 😂
And we love the tokens that you keep on making here Sir. Quite consistent 👏 -
Thanks for letting us know, obviously not your fault -

How sure are we that wallets from 2021 onwards are ok? -
It was a browser issue from I understand, not the wallet software itself -
-
So if you created a wallet on the web browser in 2021 are you at risk? I’m pretty sure thats how I started. -
-
-
Great, thanks -
No, that's incorrect. It was a software issue in the logic of the original 2014 web wallet. -
Don’t believe it’s the logic of the wallet, but the browser that executed the client side logic -
-
Its not the fault of the browser. Its the fault of the wallet logic for allowing seed generation to proceed in the absence of the then newly-released window.crypto random number generator, falling back on bitcoin.js' SecureRandom function instead.
The problem is SecureRandom had a bug that wasn't known about until 2023:

Not true. May be for the OG tokens as the initial price is itself too high .
But don't assume for Rare Doges or XDP.
I have myself sold a lot of Rare Doges, some from my collection and some created by others plus a 5000 XDP in the past 8 months itself.
Renster could sell his entire wallet which included mostly Rare Doge.
Also, if you check XDP sells, a lot them were getting sold from multiple dispensers, not only mine (before this hack happened) -
I also have a lot of XDP, I spent a large sum of money during the burn.
The people who burned doge during the new burn are the ones who are directly responsible for dogeparty being alive now and in the foreseeable future.
To do nothing for these people when we can is not the right path. -
Among the OG 2014 tokens, Spiller sets were also selling as Spiller was kind enough to realise that the dispenser prices were unrealistic at the peak of Dogeparty and he was kind enough to send extra free, to bring down the cost price.
Hence quite many Jollyrogers and Milkyway exchanged hands too.
I sold 5 JOLLYROGERS myself through dispenser in the past 2 months. I know Adeyemi sold some OTC too. Have seen the chain movements.
The other OG tokens, Yes... they haven't sold much as price is too high.
But let's not make it a blanket statement for the entire Dogeparty -
-
Am also saying the same. It's not booming like a bull market but it's moving . And let's be honest, people are in a bearish mood everywhere. Am not seeing much traffic even in Rare Pepes ,Stamps or Ordinals even.
Nutildah just passed a blank uninformed state, hence wanted him to be aware of the ground reality. -
2 days back, Private got an offer for a super scarce RP for only 1300 which was earlier at 5000+ dollars.
Even counterparty has seen prices go down. People who can wait, are waiting easily. Whether here in Dogeparty or Counterparty. That's why we don't see much sales but doesn't mean market is dead -
-
-
All I said was liquidity for XDP has been razor thin for a while because it has. Please double check the numbers for yourself. -
Offcourse it would be. What do you expect in a bear market ? But it's not razor thin as you said. -
-
You need to check XDP sales in the chain. There have been major buys from dispensers. -
-
XDPs have been getting sold. Please take out the spread . The number is not small -
As far as the prices they have been dispensing at, it's for the individual sellers at what price they can let them go. One cannot control that aspect -
-
-
-
-
-
-
See Xcer, am ok either way what Dogeparty decides as a whole for dealing with this problem. But we shouldn't decide based on how many sales and at what price it has been happening as a lot people choose to wait also , to get the right price. Some days back, a person called Andy messaged here , he had accumulated his XDp in the initial burn and he is also upbeat about it. I saw later some chain movements too of 40000+ XDP to more secure wallets. -
-
-
That's why am not putting my brains into it lol. He will know what is best as he is the one who has to execute (if he decides). I cannot even imagine the level of complexity and the time it would require and it would be unfair on my part to demand that of Jdog when this was not his fault even -
Some OGs chose to keep their tokens in the 2014 wallets , those wallets unfortunately had a chink.
After the 2023 revelation of them being weak, those tokens should have ideally been moved out but weren't. It's just bad luck.
I feel bad for Spiller as not only he lost his tokens but his eth wallet got hacked too, through a link and he lost around 2 million. That's pretty sad for a guy who was actually very kind and humble with everyone. -
Impo, right now a sane response would be to just wait and watch. Keep tracking the movements between the scammer addys, keep updating public about the addys which are associated with scammers, keep informing the 2014 wallet holders to move out their tokens, keep deleting suspicious people from groups who might try scamming in dm and let's just observe. May be a few months later we can then take a call based on the most recent developments then.
Who knows, the scammer might chose to return back or sell everything to us if he sees he is not able to do much with the tokens -
It’s a hanging liability that can’t be closed unfortunately -
-
-
-
I don’t think the complexity would be that intense, your just switching from xdp to another hardcoded token, map ids and ensure checks are correct -
Honestly a fork that removes the XDP fee for asset creation entirely would be a reasonable compromise. Neither one of us would be happy, but neither would the hacker.
We'd have to put something in place to stop asset spamming ala numerics but it's doable. -
Why is that better than replacing XDP? -
Because then there's no subjective control over who gets to swap for the new XDP -
-
-
-
You're one of the co-founders of the reboot and a Dogeparty supporter since then. So of course I would like to hear what you have in mind, and how it can be implemented. This aspect of things we should definitely discuss here to get as much feedback as possible. -
-

I agree about the bootstrap part. But what to do in the cases that an older burner comes along a year later and says "hey why can't I cash these in for new XDP?" -

Create a replacement token for xdp to be used for issuance, foundation-voting, etc. Don’t distribute it, let people who need it buy it from the foundation OR let people burn doge to get it. Existing xdp automatically becomes worthless. And this involves zero arbitrary intervention. How does this sound? -
So sorry to hear that about Spiller. 😢 -
The foundation, where is the foundation? -
-
-
I'm sorry you feel that way. If you feel that way, perhaps you should say something in the Doge Party Foundation and let the other members know that you feel that they are being irresponsible by not proposing solutions to something that you feel is super duper important.... We're entitled to your opinion, but simply because other foundation members are not proposing solutions or ideas to something that you feel is important doesn't mean it is inexcusable.... For instance, I have spent a lot of time in all of the same chats that you're in and read all the same conversations you have, and I think differently. I think that the Foundation should not be considering any action. We should not be considering forking the chain and the protocol in order to save tokens for a few users. We also should not be considering spending community funds to pay hackers..... So I'm glad that you feel this issue is important, but check yourself... G-Money, Javier, other foundation members are all fully aware of what's going on. And just because we don't agree with you that action needs to be taken does not make our inactivity ..... "inexcusable" -
Also, you might want to do your fellow Foundation members the courtesy of voicing your opinion to them privately before going into a public channel like this and putting them on blast as if they have done something wrong simply because they do not share your opinion. -
Yes, it is unfortunate that a wallet issue from 2014 has sprung up and bit a couple people. But as you are well aware, there is absolutely nothing we (the developers and foundation members) can do now other than everything that we have done, which is discuss the issue, and make people aware that their wallets generated way, way, way back long ago in 2014 may have had an entropy issue and that they might wanna consider moving their funds to a newly generated wallet address... Never forget you are here to serve the community, not to dictate what the community should do... I'm glad you have strong opinions, But once again, I disagree with your behavior and with your mindset that the foundation is doing something wrong right now by not taking drastic actions like a protocol fork or handing funds over to scammers, essentially paying bad people for stealing from good people. -
-
Great, so you should bring those ideas up to the other Foundation members, perhaps, and let them discuss it, rather than just having conversations in your head and with other people in private channels and then bitching about the Foundation doing nothing when you literally have said absolutely nothing in the Foundation channel in 2026.... You're on the foundation, for Christ's sakes. Maybe chat with your fellow foundation members about your frustration. You, me, and Javier are the only members that are co-founders on the foundation and were not elected. But every other person on the foundation was elected by the community and represents the community. So it seems to make sense that they have a much larger understanding and responsibility to the community members than you, me, and Javier, who are just co-founders that are on the foundation by default..... so once again i encourage you to bring up your frustrations with your fellow foundation members directly in a channel which is set aside for discussion with foundation members rather than just taking your frustration public and bitching about the foundation members without even doing them the courtesy of trying to have a discussion with them in the channel that is set up to talk with them. -
I know you mean well, XCer, but over the last couple years, your decisions and how you choose to handle them really gives me pause. We have an official governing body here in Dogeparty that controls what happens with doge party and the doge party foundation funds so rather than just running in circles and loudly complaining because others do not agree with your opinion (even Nutidah doesn't want to use community funds to pay the bad actor, and HE is one who got his funds stolen) it seems like you might want to remember that and take a little bit of time to chat with your fellow community members. -
-
-
-
And yet here you are complaining about fellow foundation members rather than taking the time to actually say anything in the channel. What's the point of having a foundation if you're not going to at least try to engage with them?..... At this point, you've got to bug up your ass that this hacker needs to be dealt with and so you're just deciding by yourself what should and shouldn't happen and then bitching and complaining that not everybody wants to hop on board with your extreme ideas. -
-
-
-
I'm not gaslighting you, bro. I'm speaking the truth. You are excited about this action and feel that something absolutely has to be done. So, use the path forward to get those things done. If you want a protocol change, that has to go through the programmers, Javier and me. Protocol change is not happening. The Foundation does not decide on code changes. However, the Foundation does decide on the direction of Counterparty and how to use the funds. So, if you want to change the direction of Counterparty or tap into the funds that are controlled by the Foundation, the only pathway to do that is to communicate with the community elected Foundation members.... And it's not gaslighting you to say that you have not made an effort to communicate in the official foundation channel with other foundation members about this issue before going public. It's simple facts. You're upset, you're not getting the action and activity that you want, therefore you're gonna take this complaint publicly rather than try to even have a conversation with your fellow foundation members.... That's not gaslighting, bro. That's just reciting the facts. And if you recall, I told you last week when we were talking that you should bring these things up to the foundation. You're the one that decided not to talk to any foundation members and then to bitch about them not talking to you about the issue. -
-
One person's opinion. Calling any such conversation "hidden" paints it with bad intent -
-
Private with a purpose -
-
Can be both. Neither one has truly run it's course. And #1 is there a need for urgency. First question. -
-
correct I feel that hackers come and go I feel that the issue that a couple users have been bit by was a bug in a 2014 wallet which was fixed long long ago and anyone who created a wallet in 2014 should consider logging into that wallet and sweeping those funds to a newly created wallet... something which has already been said on the public Doge Party channel And on Twitter post.... I believe that is how things should be handled, and they have been.
be clear.
1. I am not supportive of giving community funds known scammers. The funds are for the betterment of the entire community and giving a scammer funds to buy back tokens only makes things worse. We make it clear that we are willing to pay people Who come to doge party and hack other users? That is not a precedence that we want to be setting
2. I am not supportive of a protocol change to lock up the funds or return the tokens to the users who had their tokens stolen. It's just a handful of users, I think two or three, and we're not gonna make a whole protocol change to save funds. That's not what you do in a decentralized protocol.... take a look at Ethereum and Ethereum Classic. That's the exact scenario... A hacker stole funds, Ethereum forked to save the funds, Ethereum Classic said, nope, we're not gonna do that. And as a result, the chain forked and you have two chains now, Ethereum and Ethereum Classic. We are not going to do that with Doge Party.
3. I am also not supportive of some idea which is to yank the native currency XDP out of the system and replace it with some other native token. That again is making protocol changes that are reactive to a hacker and are just another protocol change in the same vain as the above item. For 12 plus years, users have used XDP as the native coin on the platform. They use XDP when they need to register an asset. You are now proposing ripping out XDP and replacing it with something else, which not only is a protocol change, but now also requires retooling the wallet and other components, because XDP will no longer be the native currency.
In my opinion, the three solutions that you have proposed are all solutions that I am not supportive of. While it is unfortunate that an issue in the 2014 Wallet exists and that a couple users that created wallets in 2014 have had their funds taken, I do not believe this is something that needs to be addressed on a protocol level or addressed by the foundation by giving funds to bad actors.
had you taken the time to ask me this in the foundation channel, I would have replied the exact same way. However, since you want to chat out here in public and speak negatively about other foundation members, we can do this out here, I guess. We also might want to consider a foundation bylaws amendment that allows for removing a foundation member from the foundation by unanimous vote, regardless of if they are a community elected member or a co-founder. This would mean if I got some mental illness or started acting crazy or doing weird stuff and the foundation members had no confidence in me anymore, they all could vote and throw me off the foundation or any member who is acting irrationally and not according to the community guidelines. -
-
-
-
I disagree. I don't think this is an extremely urgent issue. XDP has an extremely low market cap, so it's not like it's very liquid anyway, so there's not some huge risk of someone getting tons of XDP and being able to make off with them or crash the XDP market.... Most of the people from 2014 have either gone away entirely and are not involved with Doge Party anymore, or they came back with the Doge Party reboot and have been using the wallet since then. If they are active community members, then they are watching this forum and they are watching Twitter and they are moving their funds and sweeping them to new wallets.... So I think, once again, we've done everything we can to address this issue short of extreme actions that you are proposing, like giving the hacker money and trusting that they are going to give tokens back, or making protocol changes to either fork the chain save funds or fork the chain to propose a new native token.... I disagree that this is a extremely urgent issue, and I feel that the appropriate measures have already been taken, and the only reason that this issue continues to be discussed is because you are upset that you're not getting the responses that you want from myself and the other community members. -
nobody is threatening anyone, which is why I went out of my way to say I myself would be able to be voted off of the foundation if I started having a mental illness or acting crazy or whatever. Wasn't directed at you, man. In fact, I even pointed out that it threatened me as well.... Stop taking stuff so personally. -
-
I'm not seeing any evidence that justifies a position of extreme emergency. By what specific grounds are you claiming this state of emergency. Whats defines an emergency. -
Once again, another example of how what you believe in your head is the only truth, and there can be no other reasons other than your reasons that can be valid..... the exact scenario that is playing out here with the foundation members... believe you're right and you have the only solution and therefore everyone else is wrong, And not only are they wrong, but you're going to publicly call them out on being wrong and not agreeing with your idea wholeheartedly.... We're fully entitled to your opinion, but you're going way overboard here, and being all sorts of extra with regards to the foundation and whatnot. -
Sure, 90% of the xdp is able to be stollen, foundation took $300k from new burners and it’s not a problem… got it -
Two users have had their funds taken through this exploit.... 2... Yet here you are hollering about eight foundation members and speaking for a community of thousands and telling them what should happen because two members have had issues... Just keep it in perspective, bro. -
and it's always a great look when the community members fight in public.... so Kudos to that... lol -
The possibility of theft and actual theft are two different things. One is and one is not an actual emergency. -
-
Yeah ok, fair enough, but what are they going to do with it? -
-
-
Actually, the real reason I'm bringing it up is because I'm an honest person and I'm launching the xChain platform.... which supports Bitcoin, Litecoin, and Dogecoin.... And while I'm sure the community member is probably fine with me maintaining Dogeparty and the xChain platform at the same time... I (Unlike Adam Krellenstein) see this as a possible conflict of interest... So the Foundation should have a way to remove me if they all agree that my involvement with a different project is seen as a problem for Doge Party... I am interested in what is best for Doge Party long term, not what is best for myself.... So I had actually been meaning to bring up this bylaws amendment with the foundation once the X-Chain platform launched, just to make sure that everybody was cool and understood that if there was any question about me being involved with Doge Party and it being a conflict of interest, there was a method for people to be able to remove me from the foundation..... I don't think that will ever happen. I think that I will be able to maintain Doge Party and X-Chain at the same time and represent both communities well. However, I didn't want the Doge Party Foundation and community to be stuck with a leader that they no longer feels aligns with their values or ethics.... So I was going to bring it up in the future, but your situation presented itself. So yeah, I brought up removing a foundation member by a unanimous vote in the context of your activity, but that is not the only reason I brought it up. I didn't use myself as a decoy, and there is another reason to bring it up.... XChain Platform. -
All the millions of new users that are coming on board every day? -
-
How can they fuck us all over? Are they able to get access to your wallet and take your funds? no.... Are they able to cash in all that XDP for a big huge payday? no.... essentially have a wallet with illiquid token in it... xdp is a utility token only necessary when you want to do certain stuff and most users are still very easily able to get xdp when they need it to register a token or do a sweep or whatever so i'm not seeing the urgency here -
No one's saying that. Just keep in perspective the reality. There's no one to scare away, there is no crisis -
-
-
demonstrate the flaw and how it can be executed and demonstrate the value destruction for the community members.... show me where thousands and thousands of dollars are being funneled out of the existing system and into the hackers pockets and how users are having their value destroyed... Not the theoretical situation that you have in your mind. Let's base this conversation in real, actual facts. Show me the receipts. Where are the thousands of XDP being stolen from and where are they being cashed in? Where is this great loss of funds that you speak of? -
Sometimes the hardest thing to do is nothing. Wait and see what happens, observe, and then make calculated decisions in time, knowing that the risk is near zero that anything catastrophic is going to happen in the meantime. I think that's called prudence -
-
If that was the case, then there would be no point in electing a foundation.... Which is the first thing that we did when we booted up Doge Party again, if you remember.... Stop trying to paint me as the scapegoat and say that if I don't want something done, it doesn't happen. That's not how this platform operates.... the foundation says this is important to the community and The foundation members who represent the community all agree, then things happen... foundation does not dictate code changes but they do dictate direction and how the purse spends its funds... Those two items are set up entirely outside of my control. -
"Protecting them".... Sounds like something that a group should be deciding not an individual user... a group which represents the community and was elected by the community to speak for them.... So if your interest is truly in "protecting them"... Then the obvious route would be to talk in the foundation channel about your viewpoints and see if you can get other foundation members to see the validity of your idea.... Instead, you decide to go in this public channel and just complain and scream about what's not being done to your liking, rather than going through and talking with the other community elected representatives about how to best handle the situation...... Just like your solutions to this problem, how you're dealing with this problem is also... "extreme" -
I didn't realize we were like the knights of the round table here, anointed to protect the rights of any innocents who get scammed -
And just so we're clear, I do care about the problem, and I have put some of my own funds up to try to address the issue. I saw that the hacker that took some funds, set up dispensers and didn't really understood how they operated, and I saw that for $90, I could take back a huge portion of the stolen funds.... So I did so.... my own money.... as an individual community member. -
-
Here you can see I paid 650 doge and I managed to get 222 plus tokens back. So you painting the picture that foundation members don't care and that they're quiet and that they haven't really done anything is not necessarily true... It's just your viewpoint that not enough has been done and fellow foundation members don't agree with you or are silent and therefore this should be made something big and messy and loud and public. -
Yea, no one else bought that dispenser because others were trying to get him to fuck up even more -
-
Scam, fatal flaw in the code? -
How's that going? How is the conversation with the hacker going? I believe all of this was started in motion because you said you wanted to use foundation funds to pay the hacker and got really upset about it like you are now.... mention that it was all a moot point, unless you were actually in communication with the hacker and got them to agree to a price tag, at which point you would be in a much better position to sway the foundation to contribute some funds... Yet, from what I've seen, all that you can get from the hacker is some basic, can I get $10 for food, communication. No real back and forth with the hacker indicating that he is even open to your idea of taking funds from the foundation in exchange for getting the stolen tokens back to users.... So, once again, I'd like to point out, you're getting very upset and speaking very loudly, publicly on an issue, which even if today the foundation said, okay, cool, we agree, we wanna give you $5,000 to solve this problem, there is no path to the final solution of getting the funds back.... So same as yesterday, I would like to repeat that this is all just a mental exercise because there is no path forward that is clear to giving the hacker funds in exchange for getting tokens back. -
So we've gone full circle through all the possible solutions. Protocol changes, saving funds, forking the protocol, changing the native token, giving the hacker funds, all to come back to the same solution, which is that all of these proposed ideas are extreme solutions address a problem which is realistically only affected 2-3 community members. -
The flaw is not currently a flaw. You can't fix the past tense flaw. -
And to be clear, the flaw was not something in DogeParty itself. It was in CounterWallet, and it was in a sub-library of CounterWallet. And as soon as the entropy issue was discovered back in 2014, it was fixed. So all the wallets that have ever been created since the fix are perfectly fine. That's 12 plus years of wallets that are perfectly fine, not vulnerable. -
-
Oh, it does? have the stats on how many XDP holders have wallets that were created in 2014 and have never moved them? You have stats on how long it takes to crack a single address using the entropy vulnerability? So you have those stats, so naturally you can project exactly how long it will take for a hacker to steal all of the XDP from all of their wallets that were in the initial Doge Party burn that haven't moved their XDP to a new wallet.... right? or do you just feel this is extreme and feel that something is at risk and so therefore you're going to very loudly exclaim your viewpoint that this affects everyone and that everyone is at risk and let everyone know the sky is falling when in reality (according to me), it's not. -
Sounds like a condition that impacts a minority of users specifically who haven't moved their assets out of those wallet addresses. Anyone who uses XDP as an investment instrument can speak up though. The foundation itself may raise its hand since it used some of its doge to acquire xdp (your idea btw) -
You know, it really is frustrating and sucks that we are in this position where we're having to have these conversations in this way rather than having these conversations in a foundation chat where the other foundation members can let you know like, hey bro, I think that viewpoint is kind of extreme. Maybe I don't agree with that.... I think that if that had happened, you wouldn't be having as strong of feelings as you do... that maybe some of this has to do with you and me and our personal history and so when I say no I'm not supportive of that and you have an idea in your head that you're very supportive of somehow that spirals out of control into what we have now.... you attacking other foundation members and calling their inactivity inexcusable and not listening to community-elected foundation members and getting their viewpoints on what you feel is so important to all of DogeParty. -
I've spent enough time talking about this Non-issue this morning, so I'm gonna go get my Starbucks and then get back to work on XChain platform.... Once I have some spare time, I will write up an amendment to the bylaws allowing for the foundation to vote any member off by unanimous vote. And I will propose that amendment to the foundation in the appropriate foundation channel and we all can vote on it. -
-
And once again, to be clear, this amendment primarily targets me and a possible conflict of interest with my involvement being a founder and developer on Dogeparty as well as a founder and developer on XChain..Nothing to do with Xcer -
-
Glad to hear it. I will be voting yes as well as I think that the Foundation represents the entire community rather than one individual and so if your viewpoints or my viewpoints or any individual Foundation members viewpoints are at odds with the overall community so much to the extreme that the other Foundation members no longer feel comfortable having having that member on the governing body, they can be removed from the foundation. -
If I recall correctly there was a shit load of doge left over to buy xdp from the original amount allocated for that purpose. If we're so worried about xdp we could easily buy back more probably at bargain basement prices, albeit from a scammer but paying foundation money to ransom the scammer was one of the ideas floated anyway right -
And also, just to be clear, if any vote comes up about should we throw Xcer off the foundation, my vote will be no... this is not about you Xcer and your current behavior and wanting you not to be involved at all.. I think generally you're a very good guy and pretty level-headed, and I think you add value to DogeParty, so I think you still belong as a co-founding foundation member, and I will vote that way as long as I continue to feel you are a net positive to DogeParty instead of a net negative. -
Yeah, if there is any funds set aside to buy XDP that's already been approved, I definitely would be supportive of using those funds to get XDP. Even if that XDP is buying it from a hacker at a discounted rate, it's still accomplishing the goal of buying XDP with community funds. Something that we all already agreed upon previously and dedicated a budget to. -
Damn -
Guys -
I know I speak for everyone here when I say that I have highest regard for both jdog and xcer. We won’t be here without you two and Javier.. I know all of you mean well for dp no matter how much u differ on an issue. But please move this talk to the foundation channel -
Maybe we can rename the foundation to the Dogeparty Vigilantes now -
Xcer wanted everyone to see how the sausage is made so here we are -
The community trusts the foundation bro. No issues there. We will all abide by what the foundation decides -
And I’m sure the foundation will take into account feedback from the community before doing anything. I’d urge the community members to be vocal and share their thoughts, please voice your views and leave it to the foundation -
-
None of you are going anywhere. DP needs both of you -
Also agree. Whole point of this room. -

This place needs a GIF war one of these days soon. Like the old days -

That is a good idea J . Determine a price for the XDP in a foundation meeting and buy it back but I would suggest buy it back from only genuine users of Dogeparty and from those who burned it originally (if they are wanting to sell it)
Everything can be checked on chain easily, the dispensers, the market orders. You can may be take in some volunteers to help with verifying that, if foundation members are preoccupied.
I personally do not want hackers to be rewarded with even 1 doge for their xdp as they win this way. But at the end of the day, it's a collective decision. -
-
F you Sparkey and team. You will now see the full strength of Dogeparty. You don't understand that we might be sleepy at times but when some motherfucker like you tries to shit with us, you will get the full force of united Dogeparty hiting you! -
We have done it before and we will do it again 💪 -
Also, in other news thanks to the hacker, it has come to light that some extreme regulars have been using sock accounts to collect multiple cards in GAs. Corroborated by more than 2 extremely respected members of this forum.
Please stop doing it. The proof is there. If we see it happening even once more, you will be exposed. - 25 May 2026 (1 messages)

I’ll be honest. It’s a bit complicated for me, so I would prefer you guys that understand to know it out, find a solution if needed than just let us know.
So inform us of problem and immediate quick remediation to prevent loss.
Say Foundation is discussing if further action must be needed
.
Give us conclusion of your discussions .
We dont need to be involved or hear about it. Especially any disagreements. - 30 May 2026 (37 messages)

Setting the jokes aside as we are generally good‑natured people there are individuals here who are genuinely willing to negotiate with you.
Therefore, if you did not post a random wallet merely in jest, this is your opportunity, and it will not remain available indefinitely. -
Behind the scenes and through DMs, @FenrisMau @Crazyzapped and @Diogozas all tried to push things further with this scammer.
Fenris even spent around $100 of her own money trying to convince him to come to a negotiation.
Unfortunately, he’s still playing games with us.I banned him.
it’s dangerous to let him roam around the official server, and there’s a real risk he’ll scam someone else. -
