If i recall correctly, I transfered all my assets from my legacy address (my freewallet addy) and transfered them to the new " Bc"address horzion made me. Then youll find an option to curate the assets on horzion and then they'll show. Some older assets may not be able to be curated i think

You cant just sweep wallet? You can keep your older addres it just puts assets in the bc one and everytime you use horizon wallet it will have the older legacy address attached to the new bc one

it is not that segwit confirms quicker than legacy, it has nothing to do of what type address is. Probably what you wanted to say is that segwit transactions are lighter, less bytes. less bytes means same sats that you pay would give higher sats/byte rate.
so yeah we can say segwit is much more economical, maybe saves about 40% in fees. BUT... if any of those wallets add extra output (platform fees,royalty,whatever) then there is no way tx with an extra output would be lighter and there is no way it would be cheaper.
so shortly, segwit is economical if you use it right, but if you let some thrid parties to construct tx then its debatable if its really that economical.

signing bitcoin message came with the first core releases decades ago, as a secure way to prove you own the wallet.
moving funds out of the wallet just to prove something was never a good way, especially sweeping and risking all the assets.

Collection owners should be able to create their profile by simply signing the message that has issued that collection. this would be safe and sound way to the creator without in need to expose keys.

Also the assets i came asking about were issued 12 years ago.
