Hi, sorry, I have a question, what happens if I select "allow stamps to be spent"? Will the stamps be deleted from my wallet? -
Thanks -
-
Does that affect my stamps or the stamps in my wallet? Thanks. -
Pruning a UTXO: Node operators can "prune" (erase) spent UTXOs from their nodes to save space. This is because once a UTXO is spent, it is no longer valid and doesn't need to be kept in the active set of unspent transaction outputs to verify new transactions. -
Ok thanks -
"STAMPS": This term likely refers to data inscribed onto a UTXO, similar to ordinals. Once the UTXO containing the "STAMP" is spent, the data is no longer active or available in the unspent set. -
So:
For Ordinals, the condition is that a node decides not to prune the witness data, which can happen.
For STAMPS, the condition is that the owner does not spend the UTXO. -
